Ian Hallard Biography
Ian Hallard (born 9 November 1974) is an English actor and writer. He has worked in various mediums, including television, theater, and the West End. Hallard is known for his performances on stage, including the lead role of Michael in a revival of Mart Crowley's The Boys in the Band. He has also contributed as a writer and script editor for both television and stage productions. Born in Birmingham, West Midlands, Hallard received his education at Solihull School and the University of Sheffield. He trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and has been acting professionally since 1999. Hallard is married to actor and screenwriter Mark Gatiss and they reside in Islington, London.
