Ian Wolfe Biography
Ian Marcus Wolfe (November 4, 1896 – January 23, 1992) was an American character actor known for his extensive work in film and television. With around 400 credits to his name, Wolfe's career spanned seven decades. Born in Canton, Illinois, he studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. After working in theater until 1934, he made his film debut in 'The Barretts of Wimpole Street'. Wolfe appeared in numerous films, including 'Mutiny on the Bounty' (1935), Alfred Hitchcock's 'Saboteur' (1942), and 'Julius Caesar' (1953). He also appeared in various TV series. Wolfe's last screen credit was in 1990. Throughout his career, he showcased his talent as a versatile character actor.
