Ilene Kristen

Ilene Kristen (born Ilene Schatz on July 30, 1952) is an American actress known for her roles in soap operas. She gained fame for portraying Delia Ryan in the ABC soap opera Ryan's Hope (1975–1979, 1982–1983, 1986–1989) and received Emmy nominations for her performances as Roxy Balsom on One Life to Live (2001–2012). Born in Brooklyn, New York City, Kristen's father owned beauty parlors in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Palm Beach. She grew up in Queens and Manhattan, attending various schools including Professional Children's School and Finch College. With a major in Drama and a minor in Art History, Kristen embarked on her successful acting career.
