Imani Hakim (born August 12, 1993) is an American actress from Cleveland, Ohio. She gained recognition for her role as Tonya Rock on the UPN/CW sitcom Everybody Hates Chris, which aired from 2005 to 2009. Hakim's portrayal of Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas in the 2014 Lifetime original movie The Gabby Douglas Story further showcased her talent. She has also appeared in films such as Chocolate City and Burning Sands. Currently, Hakim can be seen in a supporting role on the Apple TV+ series Mythic Quest. From a young age, Hakim showed a passion for acting and began studying at Karamu House Theater in Cleveland. At the age of 11, she moved to Los Angeles with her father and quickly found success in the industry.
