Imogen Stubbs
Imogen Stubbs is an English actress and writer, born on 20 February 1961 in Rothbury, Northumberland. She began her acting career at Oxford, playing the role of Irina in a student production of Three Sisters at the Oxford Playhouse. After graduating, Stubbs attended RADA and had her first professional work there, portraying Sally Bowles in Cabaret. She gained recognition for her roles in Privileged (1982) and A Summer Story (1988). In addition to her acting career, Stubbs is also a writer and has had her first play, We Happy Few, produced in 2004. She has also contributed as an editor and writer of fiction for Reader's Digest since 2008.
