Indya Moore

Indya Adrianna Moore is an American actor and model, best known for their role as Angel Evangelista in the FX television series Pose. Born on January 17, 1995, in the Bronx, New York, Moore is of Haitian, Puerto Rican, and Dominican ancestry. They identify as transgender and non-binary, using they/them and she/her pronouns. Moore faced adversity from a young age, leaving their parents' home at 14 due to transphobia and entering foster care. They overcame challenges, including bullying and dropping out of high school, and went on to earn their GED. Moore started their modeling career at 15, working for top fashion brands like Dior and Gucci. In 2019, they were recognized as one of Time's 100 most influential people in the world.
