Ion Overman Biography
Ion Overman is an American actress known for her roles on television. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Gabriella Garza in the soap opera Port Charles from 2000 to 2002. Overman has also appeared as Candace Jewell in The L Word (2004–2005), Detective Sam Blair in Ghost Whisperer (2008–2010), and Detective Elena Ruiz in Wisdom of the Crowd (2017–2018). Born in Los Angeles, California, Overman began her acting career at the Chip Fields Repertory Theater at the age of thirteen. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles and made her film debut in The Walking Dead (1995). Overman has since appeared in various guest starring roles on prime time television series.
