Irwin Keyes Biography
Irwin Keyes (March 16, 1952 – July 8, 2015) was an American actor and comedian. He gained recognition for his recurring role as Hugo Majelewski on the sitcom The Jeffersons. Keyes appeared in a variety of films and television series, showcasing his versatility across genres such as horror, comedy, thriller, science fiction, and action. Born in New York and raised in Amityville, Keyes graduated from Amityville Memorial High School in 1970. He began his acting career while attending college and went on to make guest appearances on popular shows like Laverne & Shirley, Police Squad!, Moonlighting, and Married... with Children. Keyes also appeared in Tales from the Crypt and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
