Ishia Bennison

Ishia Bennison is a British actress, best known for her television appearances. Originally from Hull in Yorkshire, she has also established herself as a veteran stage actress. Bennison began her career with roles in notable productions such as the 1980 film The Awakening and the television drama The Chinese Detective (1981). She gained widespread recognition when she portrayed Guizin Osman, the wife of Mehmet, in the BBC soap opera EastEnders (1985-1989).
