J. Lee Biography
J. Lee, also known as J Lee, is an American actor, writer, and musician. He gained recognition for his role as Lt. Commander John LaMarr on the popular Fox/Hulu series, The Orville. Born and raised in St. Louis, Lee developed a passion for music at a young age and became a skilled pianist. He even performed at Carnegie Hall while still in his teens. After graduating from Indiana University's Jacob's School of Music, he joined Fuzzy Door Productions as a receptionist, where he struck up a friendship with renowned creator Seth MacFarlane. This friendship led to numerous acting opportunities in MacFarlane's projects and propelled Lee's acting career.
