J. Teddy Garces (born September 12, 1974) is an American actor, known for his work in film, television, and stage. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Bruiser in the popular web series The Guild, and as Julian in Ted Sampon: Househusband. Garces was born Joseph Teddy Garces in Manhattan, New York City, to Dominican parents - father Joseph Garces and mother Yvelisse Fanith, an internationally recognized poet. In 2011, Garces created and starred in his own web series called Sound Advice On The Web, where he played the role of Dr. Theodore W. Evington III, a dysfunctional therapist known for his raw and uncensored advice. The show featured a cast that included actors from The Guild such as director Sean Michael Becker, Teal Sherer, and Jeff Lewis.
