Jaan Rekkor

Jaan Rekkor is an Estonian stage, film, and television actor. Born on April 3, 1958, in the village of Hõreda in Rapla County, Rekkor attended schools in Märjamaa and graduated from the Ants Lauter Märjamaa Secondary School in 1976. He studied journalism at the University of Tartu from 1976 to 1979, and then pursued acting at the Tallinn State Conservatory's Performing Arts Department, graduating in 1982. Rekkor has appeared in approximately one hundred stage roles and productions at the Endla Theatre in Pärnu, where he began his career in 1982. In 2005, he joined the Estonian Drama Theatre in Tallinn.
