Jack DeLeon (December 19, 1924 – October 16, 2006) was an American actor known for his work in film and television. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Marty Morrison, a proud and openly homosexual character, on the popular detective sitcom Barney Miller from 1975 to 1982. DeLeon's groundbreaking role showcased a committed same-sex relationship, which was respected by the detectives in the squad. Throughout his career, he appeared in numerous network shows including Get Smart, That Girl, Starsky and Hutch, Sanford and Son, Laverne & Shirley, and Night Court. DeLeon also directed and appeared in segments of The Donny & Marie Show. His film credits include Linda Lovelace for President, I Wonder Who's Killing Her Now?, The Choirboys, and Little Miss Marker.
