Jack Hawkins

Jack Hawkins (September 14, 1910 – July 18, 1973) was an English actor who worked on stage and in film from the 1930s until the 1970s. He was born in Wood Green, London, and attended Wood Green's Trinity County Grammar School. Hawkins began his acting career at a young age, joining the local operatic society and making his stage debut at thirteen. He gained recognition for his portrayal of military men and became one of the most popular British film stars of the 1950s. Throughout his career, Hawkins appeared in numerous movies and TV shows, showcasing his talent and versatility as an actor.
