Jack Larson (February 8, 1928 – September 20, 2015) was an American actor, librettist, screenwriter, and producer. He is best known for his portrayal of photographer/cub reporter Jimmy Olsen on the television series Adventures of Superman. Larson was born in Los Angeles on February 8, 1928, to Anita and George Larson. He graduated from Montebello High School in 1945. After his role on Adventures of Superman, Larson turned to writing and production, working on plays, librettos, and movies, including The Baby Maker. He made limited appearances as an actor due to typecasting. Larson's work spanned various artistic disciplines and he left a lasting impact on the entertainment industry.
