Jack Pritchard
Jack Pritchard (8 June 1899 – 27 April 1992) was a British furniture entrepreneur known for his influential work between the First and Second World Wars. His designs are exhibited in prestigious institutions such as the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Museum of London. Pritchard was a member of the Design and Industries Association. Born in Hampstead, London, he was the son of Clive Fleetwood Pritchard and a descendant of businessman and scientist Andrew Pritchard. Pritchard married Rosemary Cooke in 1924 and they had two sons. He also had a daughter with Beatrix Tudor Hart. Pritchard and his wife resided in the renowned Lawn Road Flats and later retired to a house called Isokon in Suffolk.
