Beat is best known for their drag persona and has garnered attention through appearances in independent feature films such as Wigstock: The Movie, Flawless, and Adam & Steve. They wrote and performed the song 'Dance Off' for the latter film. Beat's television appearances include a role on Sex and the City and a writing position on the sketch comedy series Hype.
