Jackie Burns

Jackie Burns (born October 4, 1980) is an American actress and singer known for her work in musical theatre. Born and raised in Middletown and Ivoryton, Connecticut, Burns graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2002 with a degree in theatre. She began her career in regional theatre, performing at venues such as Paper Mill Playhouse, Connecticut Repertory Theatre, and Northern Stage. Burns gained recognition for her performances in the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Hair in 2009 and the original Off-Broadway cast of Rock of Ages. She went on to portray the role of Elphaba in the national tour and Broadway production of Wicked. Burns continues to showcase her talents on stage.
