Jacklyn Zeman Biography
Jacklyn Lee Zeman (March 6, 1953 – May 9, 2023) was an American actress known for her role as Bobbie Spencer on the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital, which she portrayed for 45 years. Born in Englewood, New Jersey, to a Jewish family, Zeman grew up in Bergenfield, New Jersey. She completed her high school studies at Bergenfield High School at the age of 15, and later studied dance on a scholarship at New York University. Zeman had various small roles before landing a regular role on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live. In 1977, she joined General Hospital as Bobbie Spencer, a role she played until 2010. Zeman received several Daytime Emmy Award nominations and won four for her outstanding work.
