Jacob Fortune-Lloyd is an English actor known for his performances in both television and film. Born on January 18, 1988, in Hillingdon, West London, Fortune-Lloyd comes from a family with a journalistic background, as his father is journalist John Lloyd. He pursued his education at St. Anne's College, Oxford University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English literature. Following his studies, Fortune-Lloyd trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 2014. He has since appeared in various notable television series, including Wolf Hall (2015), Medici (2018), The Queen's Gambit (2020), and The Great (2023). Fortune-Lloyd has also showcased his talent on the big screen in films such as Crooked House (2017), Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019), and See How They Run (2021).
