Jacqueline Kim is an American writer, actress, filmmaker, and composer. She is best known for her role in the film Charlotte Sometimes, for which she received a nomination for a FIND Independent Spirit award for Best Supporting Actress. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Korean parents, Kim grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She started her acting career at a young age and went on to graduate from the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago. Kim has performed on stage in Chicago, Washington, DC, and Minneapolis, including notable roles at the Guthrie Theater. In addition to her acting work, she is also involved in writing, filmmaking, and composing.
