Jacqueline Samuda Biography
Jacqueline Samuda is a Canadian actress, director, and writer. She was born in Ottawa, Ontario, and grew up in both the United States and Canada. Samuda received a B.F.A. Degree in Performance from York University in Toronto and apprenticed at the prestigious Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. She has appeared in recurring roles on TV's Spooksville, The L Word, and the sci-fi series Stargate SG-1. Samuda has also worked on numerous feature films, TV episodic projects, and animation projects. Additionally, she is a sought-after voiceover performer for international and national commercial campaigns, audiobooks, video games, and corporate and documentary films. In 2008, she was a finalist for the VOICEY Awards, an international voiceover award. Samuda is also a writer and director, having received the inaugural Motion Picture Producers Association/Women in the Directors' Chair Feature Film Award in 2008.
