Jade Anouka

Jade Anouka is an English actress known for her diverse stage roles and appearances in TV shows such as His Dark Materials, Trauma, and Cleaning Up. She was born on June 12, 1989, in London, to a Trinidadian maths teacher mother and a Jamaican mortgage advisor father. Anouka grew up in Slade Green and attended school in Bexley before transferring to a school in Lewisham for sixth form. Her interest in acting began during her time at a Saturday morning drama club in Dartford. She went on to receive a scholarship to the National Youth Theatre and studied at the Guildford School of Acting. Anouka's talent led her to be hired by the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon after graduation, where she earned a postgraduate qualification.
