Jake Lloyd Biography
Jake Matthew Lloyd, born on March 5, 1989, is an American retired actor. He gained worldwide recognition for his portrayal of young Anakin Skywalker in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. Lloyd also appeared as Jamie Langston in Jingle All the Way. He began his acting career in 1996, appearing in ER and Unhook the Stars. Other notable roles include Jake Warren in Unhook the Stars and Mark Armstrong in Apollo 11. Lloyd received the Young Artist Award for Best Supporting Actor. After starring in the dramas Die with Me and Madison in 2000, Lloyd retired from acting. He attended Carmel High School and graduated in 2007.
