Jalen Anthony Rose is an American sports analyst and former professional basketball player. Born on January 30, 1973, he gained recognition as a member of the University of Michigan Wolverines' 'Fab Five' that reached the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship games in 1992 and 1993. In the NBA, Rose played as a small forward for six teams, including the Indiana Pacers alongside Reggie Miller. He retired in 2007 with career averages of 14.3 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game. Rose has since become a well-known sports analyst, working for ABC and ESPN, including hosting the talk show 'Jalen & Jacoby.' He is also the founder of the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy and author of 'The New Yor.'
