Jameela Jamil

Jameela Alia Jamil is a British actress, activist, podcaster, and television host and judge. She began her career hosting a pop culture series on Channel 4 from 2009 to 2012. Jamil then became a radio host on BBC Radio 1, co-hosting The Official Chart Update. In 2016, she relocated to the United States where she gained recognition for her role as Tahani Al-Jamil in the NBC series The Good Place. She currently hosts the TBS game show The Misery Index and is a judge on the voguing reality competition show Legendary. In 2022, Jamil appeared in the animated film DC League of Super-Pets and the Marvel TV series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
