James Angelo Baffico is an American television soap opera director, producer, and occasional script writer. He was born on January 1, 1942, in San Francisco, California. Baffico holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, and an M.A. and B.A. from the University of Nebraska. He is known for his roles as 'Bosko' in the 1983 film All the Right Moves and as 'Wooley' in George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead. Baffico has produced films and written screenplays for Universal Studios, Vista, and Paramount Pictures. He has worked on various soap operas such as All My Children, The Doctors, Another World, As the World Turns, and Days of Our Lives. Baffico has won 8 Daytime Emmy Awards.
