James Blunt

James Blunt (born James Hillier Blount; 22 February 1974) is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. Prior to his successful music career, Blunt served as a reconnaissance officer in the Life Guards regiment of the British Army, where he participated in the 1999 Kosovo War under NATO. In 2004, he gained international recognition with the release of his debut album, Back to Bedlam, which featured the hit singles 'You're Beautiful' and 'Goodbye My Lover'. The album sold over 11 million copies worldwide, reaching number one in the UK and number two in the US. Blunt has sold over 20 million records globally and has received various awards, including two Brit Awards and five Grammy Award nominations.
