James C. Mathis III

James C. Mathis III (born November 28, 1974) is an American voice, film, and television actor. He is best known for his portrayal of Black Panther in various media. Mathis was born in Brooklyn, New York City. He made his feature film debut in Breakin' the Rules and went on to make guest appearances in television shows such as ER, Guys Like Us, Pacific Blue, and City of Angels. Mathis had his first main role as Bruce in the VH1 show I Hate My 30's. He is also recognized for providing the English voice of Sigint in the video game Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, as well as voicing X and the Beast in Shadows of the Damned.
