James Farentino Biography
James Farentino (February 24, 1938 – January 24, 2012) was an American actor known for his work in nearly 100 television, film, and stage roles. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended local schools before studying drama and acting in Catholic school. Farentino began his career in the 1950s and 1960s, performing on stage and in a few TV roles. He starred in The Alfred Hitchcock Hour and appeared in films including Me, Natalie. Farentino was also known for his role in NBC's TV series The Bold Ones and made appearances in the anthology series Night Gallery. He had notable appearances in The Final Countdown, Jesus of Nazareth, and Dynasty.
