James Fox Biography
James William Fox (born William Fox; 19 May 1939) is an English actor known for his versatile performances. He gained recognition in the 1960s with his BAFTA Award-winning role in The Servant (1963). Throughout his career, he appeared in a variety of films including The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner (1962), Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines (1965), and Performance (1970). After taking a break from acting, Fox returned in the 1980s and delivered memorable performances in A Passage to India (1984), Patriot Games (1992), and The Remains of the Day (1993). In recent years, he has continued to showcase his talent in films such as Sexy Beast (2000) and the 2001 adaptation of The Lost World.
