James Francis Ginty
James Francis Lawrence Ginty (born December 4, 1980) is an American actor known for his work in film, theatre, and television. He was discovered by director Kathryn Bigelow while attending the Juilliard School in New York City and made his film debut in her movie K-19: The Widowmaker, starring alongside Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson. Ginty gained recognition for his portrayal of multiple characters in Disney's sci-fi action film Surrogates. Born in Los Angeles, he is the son of actor/director Robert Ginty and actress Francine Tacker. Ginty attended Valley Forge Military Academy and the Interlochen Arts Academy before pursuing his acting education at Juilliard. He holds a degree in history from UCLA and a graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
