James Intveld

James Intveld (born November 12, 1959) is an American rockabilly musician, singer, songwriter, performer, actor, and film director. He was born in the Netherlands but moved to California with his parents at the age of one. Intveld started his music career as a country music-singing teenager, entering talent contests at the Palomino Club in North Hollywood. He initially played in The Rockin' Shadows with his brother Ricky before they were asked to join Ricky Nelson's backing band. Tragically, both his brother and a bandmate were killed in a plane crash in 1985. Intveld has also written songs for other artists, including Rosie Flores. In addition to his music career, he has appeared in various films and TV shows.
