James Maxey Biography
James Maxey is an American author known for his work in science fiction and fantasy. He has won the Phobos Award and been nominated for the WSFA Small Press Award. Maxey's fiction has been featured in Asimov's Science Fiction and InterGalactic Medicine Show, as well as various anthologies. In addition to his writing, he has reviewed novels for the online magazine IGMS and has appeared on panels and taught workshops at conventions along the east coast. Maxey is a 2015 Piedmont Laureate and has been included in the Year's Best Science Fiction and Fantasy. He resides in Hillsborough, North Carolina, with his wife, Cheryl.
