James May

James Daniel May (born 16 January 1963) is an English television presenter and journalist. He is best known as a co-presenter of the motoring programme Top Gear from 2003 until 2015, alongside Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond. May is also a co-presenter of the television series The Grand Tour for Amazon Prime Video, along with his former Top Gear colleagues. In addition to his work in the motoring genre, May has presented other programmes on topics such as science, technology, toys, wine culture, and modern manliness. He was born in Bristol and attended Caerleon Endowed Junior School in Newport. May has a diverse career in the world of television.
