Jami Gertz

Jami Beth Gertz, born October 28, 1965, is an American actress known for her roles in films such as Crossroads, The Lost Boys, Less than Zero, and Quicksilver. She also gained recognition for her roles in the 1980s TV series Square Pegs and the sitcoms Still Standing and The Neighbors. Gertz is a part-owner of the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA, alongside her husband Tony Ressler. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, she attended Maine East High School before pursuing a career in acting. Gertz was discovered by Norman Lear and studied drama at NYU. She began her acting career as a child actor, appearing in one episode of Diff'rent Strokes.
