Jamie Donnelly is an American actress and singer best known for her portrayal of Jan in the musical and film Grease. Born in Teaneck, New Jersey, Donnelly reprised her stage role as Jan in the film adaptation of Grease, making her the only cast member to do so. At the age of 31, she dyed her graying hair to maintain continuity with the character. Donnelly also appeared in the United States premiere of The Rocky Horror Show in the early 1970s, playing the roles of Magenta and the Usherette. She performed alongside Tim Curry and Meat Loaf at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles. Donnelly's contributions can be heard on the original Roxy cast recording.
