Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx, born Eric Marlon Bishop on December 13, 1967, is an American actor, comedian, and singer. He gained acclaim for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the film Ray (2004), winning several awards including the Academy Award, BAFTA, Screen Actors Guild Award, and Golden Globe Award for Best Actor. Foxx also received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the crime film Collateral (2004). He rose to fame as a featured player in the sketch comedy show In Living Color and later starred in his own sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show from 1996 to 2001. Foxx has appeared in numerous successful films such as Ali (2001), Dreamgirls (2006), Django Unchained (2012), and Soul (2020). He has also portrayed the supervillain Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014).
