Jamie Oliver

Jamie Trevor Oliver MBE OSI (born 27 May 1975) is a British restaurateur, cookbook author, and television personality. He gained fame with his television series, The Naked Chef, which debuted in 1999. Known for his casual approach to cuisine, Oliver has opened numerous restaurants and authored several cookbooks. In 2005, he launched the Feed Me Better campaign, advocating healthier food for schoolchildren, which gained government support. Oliver's restaurant chain, Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group, opened its first restaurant, Jamie's Italian, in 2008. However, the chain went into administration in May 2019. Oliver was awarded the 2010 TED Prize for his TED Talk and was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire in 2003 for his contributions to the hospitality industry.
