Jamie Parker

Jamie Parker (born August 14, 1979) is an English actor and singer. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Harry Potter in the original cast of the West End play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Parker received critical acclaim for his performance, winning a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Play and a WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actor in a Play. He was also nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Play for the Broadway production. Parker's other notable credits include playing King Henry in the Globe production of Henry V and roles in films such as The History Boys and Valkyrie. He was born in Middlesbrough, Cleveland and attended Loretto School before training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).
