Jan-Michael Vincent Biography
Jan-Michael Vincent (July 15, 1944 – February 10, 2019) was an American actor best known for his role as helicopter pilot Stringfellow Hawke in the TV series Airwolf (1984–1987) and his portrayal of Matt Johnson in the 1978 film Big Wednesday. He also appeared as Byron Henry in The Winds of War. Born in Denver, Colorado, Jan-Michael Vincent's father served in the United States Army, and his mother moved to Hanford, California when she was young. Jan's grandfather, Herbert Vincent, was a notorious bank robber and counterfeiter. Jan-Michael Vincent's acting career spanned several decades, and he made notable contributions to the film and television industry.
