Jane Cox
Jane Cox (born May 13, 1952) is an English actress known for her role as Lisa Dingle in the popular ITV soap opera Emmerdale. She portrayed the character from 1996 to 2019 and made a brief return in 2020. Cox was nominated for the British Soap Award for Best Actress in 2011. Prior to her time on Emmerdale, she appeared in episodes of Coronation Street, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, and The Bill. Cox gained recognition for her role as JJ in the children's entertainment series Allsorts from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, she has made appearances on Lily Savage's Blankety Blank. After 23 years on Emmerdale, Cox announced her departure in 2019, but made a few voice cameos in 2020.
