Jane Downs (22 January 1935 - 20 May 2015) was an English actress known for her work in film, theatre, and radio. Born in Bromley, Kent, England, Downs began her career in the theatre before making appearances in film and on radio. Notably, she played Kenneth More's wife in the film A Night to Remember (1958), in which her first husband Gerald Harper also appeared. In the 1970s, Downs worked on stage and television alongside Terence Alexander, whom she married in 1976. She made a cameo appearance as Daisy Williams in the television series Waiting for God in 1991. Downs passed away in London at the age of 80.
