Janette Manrara
Janette Manrara Škorjanec (born November 16, 1983) is a Cuban-American singer, television presenter, choreographer, and professional dancer. Born in Miami, Florida, to Cuban parents Luis and Maritza, she is the oldest of three siblings. Manrara began her career as a singer before pursuing dance, studying various styles including ballroom, ballet, pointe, jazz, and hip-hop. She gained recognition through her appearances on the US series So You Think You Can Dance and the British dance reality show Strictly Come Dancing. Manrara is married to Slovenian dancer and co-star Aljaž Škorjanec. In addition to her dance career, she co-hosts Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two and has also worked in musical theatre.
