Janicza Bravo

Janicza Michelle Bravo Ford is an American film director, film producer, and screenwriter. She is best known for her films including Gregory Go Boom, Lemon, and Zola. Born in New York City, Bravo grew up between Colón and an Army base in Panama City, Panama, until her family moved back to the United States. She attended the Playwrights Horizons Theater School of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where she majored in directing and design for theater. With her unique storytelling style and collaborations with renowned playwrights and actors, Bravo has made a name for herself in the film industry.
