Jann Arden

Jann Arden (born Jann Arden Anne Richards; March 27, 1962) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, author, and actress. Known for her signature ballads like 'Could I Be Your Girl' and 'Insensitive', Arden has captivated audiences with her emotional performances. Born in Calgary and raised in Springbank, Alberta, she attended Springbank Community High School. Arden's upbringing was marked by challenges, including an abusive alcoholic father and a brother convicted of first-degree murder. After graduating high school, she settled in Vancouver and performed with various bar bands, covering songs by Led Zeppelin, Tina Turner, and Billie Holiday. Arden's talent and dedication have earned her a respected place in the music industry.
