Janne Mortil

Janne Mortil (born December 14, 1967) is a Canadian-American actress known for her roles in various movies and television shows. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Madeleine Astor in the television movie Titanic (1996) and Michelle Dupont in the series Side Effects, receiving a Gemini nomination. Mortil began her career at a young age, appearing in The Beachcombers at the age of five and later becoming a regular in the soap opera House of Pride during the 1970s. She has also performed on stage and appeared in other notable projects such as Little Women (1994) and Hitcher 2 (2003). Mortil has made television appearances in shows like 21 Jump Street, The X-Files, Poltergeist: The Legacy, and Cold Squad.
