Jared Kushner
Jared Corey Kushner (born January 10, 1981) is an American businessman, investor, and former government official. He gained prominence as the son-in-law of President Donald Trump through his marriage to Ivanka Trump. From 2017 to 2021, Kushner served as a senior advisor to Trump and was also the Director of the Office of American Innovation. Prior to his government role, Kushner worked primarily as a real-estate investor in New York City, overseeing operations at Kushner Companies. He took over the company after his father's conviction for multiple criminal charges in 2005, in which Charles Kushner was later controversially pardoned by Trump in 2020. Jared also ventured into the newspaper industry by acquiring The New York Observer in 2006. While previously registered as a Democrat and donating to Democratic politicians, he later registered as an Independent.
