Jared Michael Rushton is an American former actor born on March 3, 1974, in Provo, Utah. He gained recognition in the late 1980s for his roles in films such as Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Big, and Overboard. Rushton received nominations for two Saturn Awards and two Young Artist Awards for his performances. He also appeared in Pet Sematary Two and portrayed Chip on the sitcom Roseanne. Additionally, he starred in the movie A Cry in the Wild, based on the book Hatchet. Rushton began his acting career at the age of twelve and made appearances in shows like Tales from the Darkside and Cagney & Lacey. He also had a brief role on the CBS drama Northern Exposure as a reluctant father-to-be.
