Jared Turner

Jared Turner is a New Zealand-born Australian actor. He is best known for his roles as Ben Maddox in the TV show Go Girls, Tarrick/Void Knight in Power Rangers Dino Fury and Cosmic Fury, and as Ty Johnson on The Almighty Johnsons. Jared was born in New Plymouth, New Zealand, to parents of Samoan and German descent. His family relocated to Sydney, Australia, in 1980. He graduated from Theatre Nepean, University of Western Sydney in 2000. Jared has also hosted the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority's energy-saving adverts, 'The Energy Spot.' In 2014, he married costume designer Lissy Mayer, and they have a blended family of four children.
